PARS remains operational while closely monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 as it pertains to travel constraints and fleet-related business restrictions in the US and Canada which have the potential to affect transportation timelines and service availability. We are realizing some logistical challenges around driver movement given rental car shortages and we continue to see license and titling delays in many areas as a result of motor vehicle department operating limitations. The American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) provides a great resource which is frequently updated summarizing motor vehicle department restrictions and licensing extensions in the US and Canada on their website (https://www.aalafleet.com/). For general state-by-state restrictions we’ve found AARP to be a good resource (https://www.aarp.org/politics-society/government-elections/info-2020/coronavirus-state-restrictions.html). The PARS team will continue to communicate any move or services delays anticipated or encountered.
As a reminder, PARS drivers are instructed to wear masks (provided by PARS) and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces including steering wheels, door handles, and car keys at pickup and delivery. We continue to offer “contactless” pickups and deliveries capitalizing on our industry-leading proprietary mobile app. Lastly, PARS does offer an onsite (at your fleet driver’s location following vehicle delivery) specialized vehicle disinfecting service in the US and Canada. Inquire about this service with your PARS Customer Service Specialist or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As circumstances change, we will keep you up to date on the impact on service availability. Of course, you can continue to check on your projects through the PARS customer portal, or contact your PARS account person. If you have specific questions around license & titling please email DMV@parsinc.com. Any other questions can be directed to email@example.com. We are also available by phone at (703) 743-8000.
