APRIL 3, 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE

PARS remains operational with all office staff telecommuting. We continue to realize growing transportation delays as the list of states ordering all workers in non-essential businesses to stay home in an effort to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic continues to expand. This list currently includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia, as well as specific cities or counties in Alabama, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. These restrictions are severely impacting our ability to execute interstate driveaway moves. In some cases, where appropriate and approved by customers, we may be able to execute interstate moves faster and more efficiently through our auto carrier network.

In addition to state restrictions impacting vehicle moves we continue to see acceleration in the rate of closings among state agencies, maintenance facilities, detail shops, license and titling services, and storage locations that we rely upon to complete our customers’ vehicle relocation projects. Individual move delays or service issues are being communicated to customers accordingly.

Of course, like all businesses concerned about employee safety and social responsibility, PARS will adhere to all COVID-19 associated governmental directives and CDC safety recommendations. However, our experienced team will review thoroughly and recommend any possible alternative strategies in order to obtain the best results for our customers.
