PARS remains operational while closely monitoring the situation as COVID-19 is surging, leading to many new regional restrictions. These restrictions, coupled with existing travel limitations, can affect transportation timelines and service availability. We continue to see license and titling delays as many motor vehicle departments remain only partially open or open by appointment only. The American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA) provides a great resource which is frequently updated summarizing motor vehicle department restrictions and licensing extensions in the US and Canada on their website (https://www.aalafleet.com/). For general state-by-state restrictions we’ve found AARP to be a good resource (https://www.aarp.org/politics-society/government-elections/info-2020/coronavirus-state-restrictions.html). The PARS team will continue to communicate any move or services delays anticipated or encountered.
As a reminder, PARS drivers are instructed to wear masks (provided by PARS) and clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces including steering wheels, door handles, and car keys at pickup and delivery. We continue to offer “contactless” pickups and deliveries capitalizing on our industry-leading proprietary mobile app. Lastly, PARS does offer an onsite (at your fleet driver’s location following vehicle delivery) specialized vehicle disinfecting service in the US and Canada.
